Goals and methodology of Spanish and Catalan course

In monglobal our goal is to develop the communicative skills of our students in their daily life. We help students develop all language skills (writing, speaking, listening and reading) from the first day using efficient and dynamic methods. We follow the Cervantes Institute Curriculum, which is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Standard Intensive courses

A daily 4-hour-class, weekly courses (20 h/week)
Class time: from 9:30 to 13:30h (Monday-Friday).
Students per classroom: 6-8 students.
Levels: from beginner to advanced.

Included:

Course material
1 cultural walk around Horta-Guinardó area.
2 guided tourist visits.
1 lunch or dinner

Not included: transportation and tickets for tourist attractions.

Prices:

1st-2nd week: 205€/week
3rd-4th week: 195€/week
More than 4 weeks; check prices.

Extensive courses

The Catalan and Spanish extensive courses last one trimester.

Lessons: a 2-hour-class 2 days a week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) (4 h/week) or Saturday morning (10 – 14 h)
Class time: morning or afternoon/evening
Students per classroom: 6-8 students.
Price: 300€

Spanish and Catalan for seniors

Intensive courses aimed at students older than 50. The goal of these courses is to learn language while enjoying the art, history and culture of Barcelona together with other students of similar age and interests.

Duration: 2 weeks, with the possibility of extending the course.
Lessons: 3 hours a day (15 h/week).
Class time: from 10 to 13h
Students per classroom: 6-8 students.
Levels: from beginner to advanced.

4 guided tourist visits.
1 lunch or dinner

Not included: transportation

Prices 2 weeks: 410 €

Arts & crafts workshop: with a specialised art teacher who graduated from the prestigious School of Plastic Arts and Design La Llotja. She has expertise in drawing and painting on silk, crystal, ceramic, etc.
Monographic courses for specific professional groups: architects, teachers, etc. For architects and interior designers, Barcelona offers an extraordinary variety of architectural styles: from the Roman Age, to the Romanesque, Gothic, Modernism and contemporary architecture.
